What's New at the Studio?!?

Miss Shannon will be heading to the North East for The Dance Life Teacher Conference and will be bringing back tons of new class curriculums as she trains with top professionals!!

Ms. Deb attended Dance with Utica, a training workshop that included classes in multiple dance forms and related subject matter.  There was a so much valuable information presented in the classes, but the sessions she found the most interesting were; "Contemporary Floor Work" taught by Heather Rolfe,  "Contemporary Partnering" taught by Jolene Indolfi, "How to Warm Up" and "Injury Prevention" taught by Gwen Murphy, "Choreography" taught by Kelly Johnson and "Massage Therapy for Dancers" taught by Sarah Jones.  Ms. Deb has also been studying an online course on "Effective Stretching" that includes the latest up to date stretching techniques by injury prevention specialist Deborah Vogal. Ms. Deb is very anxious to share all of this new information with the students of Port Orange Dance!
